I just ordered a new battery for my TR1.

Quick Q(s):

1) How long should I charge it before using if for the first time?
2) Is it ok to during this first INITIAL charge to use my laptop at the same time (i.e. I figured since I get the *full charge* pop up when its fully charged, that it might be the most accurate way to guage when its fully charged - or is it better to charge it full and THEN use it)

Weren’t the batteries that came alongwith the laptop also discharged? I don’t think that should matter, but if it did, the manufacturer should have provided instructions on using the battery for the very first time.

I would think it would come charge how they do it with most of their other products that i have of sony
