Just wanted to say this forum RULES and that I had no idea there were this many TR users out there! NICE!

Anyway, I was wondering a few things… I have the POS UJ-812, can I use the UJ-832?

Also, I was thinking about removing the Optical drive altogether (who uses it anyway?) and getting a faster/better slim external one for at home.  In the place of the optical drive (inside the TR’s case) I was thinking about squeezing a 2.5” hard drive… is the flex cable connector (HDD to cable) the same on the 1.8” as the 2.5”?

Since no one replied… I figured it out myself.  Stay tuned for a TR with two hard drives… :-D

well? how did it go? i am looking at it right now and for a 1.8 drive it should be no problem except how to secure the drive down. i don’t think u want it sliding around loose…

It wouldnt work unless you dont put keyboard back and u have wierd laptop to bring around

Just get external hard drive get little one to bring around with u or usb drive or hard drive that goes into pcm drive
