I’m looking for a non-working TR - any model. Ideally I would like one with a completely undamaged case, but one with some very light damage might do.

It’s a part of a very vague plan I have to paint my TR, and I want to have one to try it out on.

UK/Europe would be easier, but I could live with one from US/Asia.

Actually I think I saw that one myself… it’s going for nearly GBP100 which I didn’t think was all that cheap.

Am I being unreasonable?

I’ll just leech on your post seeing as how I’m looking for the body of a nonfunctioning TR (preferably TR2A) too; the entire body of my TR2A is pretty badly damaged (in the split-in-half sense ) but all the inards are fully functional. If I can find get a body for a price I can aford I’d be willing to give away the broken body or even parts of it for little more than shipping costs. (Thats all you need for a paint-test, right?)

That’s very generous - actually though, I’m looking for one with a body in one piece so I can paint that and then, if it went well, just transplant my own TR into it. I am having a lot of difficulty actually doing that, though. eBay is the best place I’ve found to look, and one only comes up about once every two weeks and goes for over GBP150, which is rather more than I can justify.
