I’ve only had my TR for about a week. I have no plans to get a case. So far I have put 5 charge cycles on it in just six days…so you know I am using this thing. I take it in and out of my briefcase numerous times a day. I use it in the car, home, and my office, and not a scratch yet. It doesnt even show fingerprints with the only exception being the small VAIO chrome emblem behind the LCD. I’m sure my story carries little weight since its just the first week. :wink: However, I have a feeling this machine is put together well. It feels very solid. Make no mistake, I am not a superficial geek. If this thing looks like an army of Matrix Sentinals hit it in the next 2-3 years, I don’t give a rip…as long as it works for what I do…sell houses. So if you need your TR to shine 24/7, get a case. Either way, this little notebook is all that and a bag of chips, a chocolate milkshake with a cherry, and a wet nap just in case. So stop looking for reasons not to get it, say bye bye to your two grand and become a Sony fanatic like the rest of us- :ph34r:
