I hope RF online (Rising Forces) works with TR it should like 99.9% looks like a great MMORPG hey all good games are MMORPG’s heh and FPS. Its great how MMORPG’s have low requirements. Hey Unreal tornament 2004 still pwns but not making new one until october. Battle field 1942 great game. Warcraft 3 always good and great for lan parties. Oh ya i would lmfao if we had a TR lan party pwn alienware anyday. Guild wars hey it works dieing off now. Star wars battlefront 1 is good. 2 have for psp only if they made infrastructure urg!! TR is the best! Skrew those alienware overclocked computers this is better ^^  So what u cant play only a few few games mostly suck ones u cant play anyway lol. Portable gaming right back at ya. Most people say its not desktop replacement u know what ur WRONG its amazing!!

Just a few years ago, ultraportables like the TR didn’t even exist, they were just a dream. Trust me, by the end of this decade, we’ll see laptops the same size of the TR being excellent gaming machines as well, technology moves so quickly, its amazing.
I will personally be extremely happy to see ultraportables like the TR be able to play games like Doom 3, Half Life 2 and Call of Duty 2 at full speed, its just a dream now that will become a reality eventually….

But the very definition of “ultra portables” shifts, along with what is considered a high spec game. By the time computers can play those games at the “ultraportable” size of present day, there will be much smaller computers and much more demanding games. By that time the ultraportable being able to play Doom 3 would be like our ultraportable being able to play pong or pac-man.  :wink:

I play Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed, and it runs fine with no grapshical compromises. Of course it isnt the newest, but I love it the most so far.

Seems only did it for ours and not TX’s ha which is 915 Any mistakes on gaming on thier website please report here they are getting better with their drivers.
This topic isnt only about new games coming out this year. Just playing them on our TR’s games you still play and recommend to other users.

If you are having trouble with games that require T and L use http://www.tommti-systems.com/main-Dateien/files.html thanks to fribrizo. IT is used by your processor but slow your gaming down a bit but we do must we have to do right :D

Games I play are UT2004, Quake 3 arena, PJ N64 emulator, Homeworld 1, Warcraft frozen throne, Serious Sam the second encounter, Battlefield 1942, AOE2, and RF online which all work flawlessly on the TR without that program.

Games I dont play that work that aren’t posted on intels site is WOW, Counterstrike, and a billion more i cant think of atm meh :cry:

So please post and keep our TR gaming forever to come. Any game is welcomed :mrgreen:

If I download a new driver from INTEL, and install it, the Function buttons on the right of the screen will refuse to work, like Zoom, Capture, etc, right?

Only the magnify button wont work i dont know why but after forgot what driver they started to make it not work on purpose :cry: . Personally I only see a few games on thier website that need it but id rather have the magnify button but thats just me. But from other users on this website you load up faster and its more clear. Gl choosing and it loads up faster by loading everything at once besides it loading in small chunks.

Also who in their right mind expects graphically intensive games produced years after the release of the TR to work on the TR… :x

And don’t expect that software T&L hack to do any miracles. The T&L units of real video cards are vastly superior a general purpose CPU. Let’s say at a minimum, they’re 5-10x faster. So, even if you tricked a program to run, it would be painfully slow since the CPU is doing all the work. And don’t forget that it has to take care of the OS, AI, game logic, etc.

Ya i know but im trying to keep up with the times :D and ya I know its years after but look how well made it is compared to the TX in the TR time period it could play so many games and look at the TX now it could play like every TR old games but only a few more due to slightly better graphics chip. And ya groovy I know that program makes the game very hard on the chip but at “least” it still plays.

Yes, I also agree with you that the Magnify button is quite useful. I use it when reading websites with a tired eye… So I guess, the same driver must do it for me then….

What’s your definition of “plays”? 1-5 frames per second? Just because an application can run doesn’t mean it’s playable.

:( who knows maybe you could get more then 5 FPS lol but your right groovy it should have really low Frames per second and probualy be ultra laggy but maybe it can help some game by more who knows. So thats why you play slightly older games which still are the best. Like I said if it doesn’t cut for your style of play get a desktop :D. But still theres games that come out even this year it can still play expecially MMORPG’s since they want the most people they can get, so they have lower requirements then FPS games. Quake 3 is still my favorite game so this is not a problem for me. So lets get back to my favorite part of this topic list more games people :D and have a great time!
