This thread is about games that run on the T series…

I’ll start…I went to local wal mart and was trying to think of a fun game that would be too grafic intense for my T-150.

Most of these new games that are on the market right now such as halo, doom3, hl2 we have to play at 640x480 to get a decent FPS. 

Anyway after looking at the games for a little while…I saw something that caught my eye “The Political Machine…This game runs at full specs…With AA turned all the way up…

Not too bad that reccomends Direct 9b…And the T-150 played it flawlessly…

This is great I thought finally a new game on the market that I can play on my sub-notebook. 

I just am getting sick of trying to tweak here and there to get games to work…I just would rather get games that play well on our machines.

This is a little thing that I would mind is to get a better grafic card…I would jump on that .....Fitting a mobile 9700 ati in a sub compact would be sick… :drool:

Also something that I know that my T-150 perfomed better in gaming than my TR3A.  The extra 100MHz and 2MB L2 Cache must of made a differnce..

I can actually play Halo on 1280 res…Unlike only at 640 on my TR…The quailty is that great though…There is a lot of lag playing at the higger res…

The Political Machine is not a graphically intensive game and barely uses any 3D…so, of course it runs well. Of course, that’s not to say that a game has to be 3D for it to be good.

My friend couldn’t run it on his Compaq, it just keeps resetting his system.

I agree that the Political Machine is not the most intensive game in grafics…But, Its new and uses DX9…

THis game you can turn all the features up and the game plays perfect…

For our TR’s and T’s this is a good thing I would think…

That game (officially) doesn’t even support GF4 series, you surely cannot expect to run it on Intel EG ?  :shock:

Sure, you can patch it (with unofficial patch) to support below-DX9 cards but I’m certain that creators of that patch haven’t had T users one their mind. 

Oni is a third person hand to hand combat and shooter combo that has accurate aiming. This is a very good game that can be run at 1024x768 full wide screen with no problem. Also need for speed Porche Unleashed works extremely well. Both these games are old though. If you want high quality and higher than 640x480 then you will have to look back to the oldies but goodies IMHO.

The first part of the Half Life 2 Demo plays great though at higher resolution, but after that things go down hill.

You can use some of the emulators out there to play the old school Genesis games like Street fighter, Streets of Rage, Altered Beast, Super Hang-on, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, Pit Fighter, etc. I use the USB GamePro pads for these games. In fact you can use two gamepads, one for you and one for the kids to play at the same time.

Yup, playing SNES/Genesis/Gameboy games is great on this baby. 

Guys dont disrespect the T TR and TX they arent as bad as people say so w8 at least it plays the game all i want and its much cooler playing a game on little thing then sometimes on a desktop. Most games its fine with some u may have to tweak it a bit not that big of diff in graphics noticable but not like its bloby. Im just trying to defend these little guys there great pieces of work just because there meant for power and portability doesnt mean it cant do anything else

I love the TRs, Ts and TXs as well, they are amazing ultraportables, though I wish they could have at least slightly better graphics for gaming, especially for how much we are paying for them.
