Update: new setup, actually two new setups:

1. Workstation (Intel Dual Xeon = 2 x 3.2 GHZ CPUS, more than 1TB HDD space - 5 x Western Digital Raid Edition 320GB and other existing HDDs, etc ...)

2. Power Machine for home (AMD FX, Dual WD Raptor 74GB in Raid0, 2 x WD RE 320GB, XFX Geforce 7800GTX, Creative Xfi, awesome 21.1” EIZO Widescreen TFT, etc ...)

so have been lil bit busy planning & shopping the last couple days & weeks :wink: , check it out:

it was the other one, which i saw the wheels and thought lian li. I’m pretty familiar with the stacker - mother of a case.

Here’s my current setup (or at least one side of the room), the Vaio is usually docked at a monitor on the other side of the room. I’ve just moved house and needed to get my gear up and running quick to do a 3D and Video job so it all just went together quick smart to enable work. Now comes the long process of sorting it all out.

Left to right: Laser printer - homebuilt 3D machine: Pentium 4 overclocked with 1GB Ram DVD dual layer and 200GB 7200 rpm storage running two Gforce 4 graphics cards for the dual monitors - in the middle 200GB firewire/USB 2.0 external drive - My main web design machine: Sony Vaio U101 - to the right my main editing machine: Apple G4 with a SCSI raid array in a tower in the cupboard (~100GB SCSI3) with two SCSI 3 10,000rpm 36GB drives in external cases sitting on top.

chose that case cause in the lower level of the case you can put in lots of hdds 8) for my private machine, stacker case is good enough
