It all started when I accidentally bumped with the table where my notebook is in. The table shook a little (Not the best of tables) and the notebook suddenly died down.
I let it rest for a few minutes, opened up the memory panel at the back to check, closed it and turned it back on.
It’s booting again into Windows, but none of the USB ports work (It can’t detect any device, *but* my optical mouse still receives power from it. Same as my mp3 player, which still charges), Windows turned slower than usual, sometimes the notebook freezes.
Now, here’s the weird part: Even when the notebook is off, it seems that the section underneath the notebook where the hard drive is located seems to refuse to cool down whenever the battery is present.
Any of you have any info or opinion with regards to the problem? Thanks. Currently backing up all files I have while the notebook is still in working condition. I’ll try using the Recovery Kit after the backup and report here on the results.
Update: Just noticed it now, but the Motion Eye is missing from My Computer. I distinctly remember that it is connected via an internal USB port…
Update 2: Whenever windows starts, the System process always take the processor up to 100%....
Update 3: Won’t run recovery program. Notebook freezes right after the initial loading of the recovery sequence.
