does anyone out there have any knowledge of any mods done to the win help system by sony. i used alohabob to transfer a system from the tr3 to a desktop being careful to select just what i needed, but now on the desktop the help system wont display. i can see the frame but nothing inside the window. i suspect it’s cause i may have transfered a setting from the TR that is corrupting the XP on my desktop. I also can’t see the extended services window in services applet (but I can see things on the standard tab)
worrysome. everything else went great in the migration and i thought i could save time using alohabob. but unless i figure this one out soon, i will be at a negative savings and perhaps have to start from scratch and reinstall xp to fix. UNLESS is there a repair feature in XP professional? that would be nice. as always Namaste and thanks,
