I have a torrent question. I got a folder that had cd1 and cd2. In each folder where files with the same name and there extension where just numbers. (.001, .002, .003…...etc) How do you combine these or extract them?

Most likely, you’ll need to use WinRAR to combine those files.

Most likely, you’ll need to use WinRAR to combine those files.

WinRAR doesn’t know what to do with them…....

WinRAR doesn’t know what to do with them…....

It should do.  Normally once winRAR is installed and you’ve rebooted then the files should be associated with the programme.  Just double click one to open it and the file you want appears ready to be extracted.  Well that’s how it was for me :shock:

WinRAR doesn’t know what to do with them…....

WinRAR won’t recognize the files automatically if there’s no lead .RAR file. However, if you “force” WinRAR to open the .001 file, it will automatically figure out that it’s a WinRAR archive and allow you to extract it fully.

you can also try to rename the files (rename 001 -> r01, 002 -> r02, etc.)

Thanks, I think the problem is it is an incomplete download.
