Everyone…every Sony TR lovers! The TX is really really cool with all the new features, lightweight, long battery life, super thin, BT v2.0.
I currently have a TR2MP, and I LOVE THE TR-series more than ANY laptop.
So the question is…Should I upgrade it with the new BT v2.0 module(if it fits) & UJ832 DVDRW? Or should I just get the TX650 instead? I’m troubled by this! I really dont wanna let my nice TR go.
personally the webcam thing on the TX gave me the S#$*s.
I never used it and it just added weight and size.
The TX loses it and so for my money I’d rather a portable that saved the weight and didn’t include junk i dont use. Plus you get faster computer and DVD burner. Win, win as far as i’m concerned.
I always go for the newer and better stuff, so if I were you, I’d go ahead and trash the old get the TX.
Personally I thing the best laptop in the world is the S model but thats my opinion. I’ve owned and used different brands and models but nothing compares to mine, especially for the size.
Well I really like the TR design. It is indeed a lot thicker than S and TX. But thats what I like. But then, I also dont like to stay and not improving. I saw the TX and I told myself this is a laptop that I can move onto. I really liked the S and was gonna get one too. Especially some of its series can have Geforce Go/ATi Radeon graphic cards, but the ultra-slim and long battery life of the TX just take me right to him. Plus its hard to find a S-series with DVD-RW, Bluetooth, Geforce Go all in one!
I’ll definitely stick with this puppy for the foreseable future. Not much more in the TX that’d tempt me to shell out two grands. BTW, I love the Motion Eye ... use it everyday to chat with friends/family on MSN.
It sounds like an intresting trade…
But your better off waiting for the TX range to expand if you have the paicence…
The TR range still offers quite alot inside for size, weight & design… 8)
So if your still in LoVe with your TR…. KEEP IT…. cause the TX range has only Just Begun….
Sooo Chooooose Wiselyyyy…
If I had to make the choice (and had the cash) and since my TR’s camera no longer functions, I would definitely get the TX. It does look better compared to the TR and certainly has better features.
