Moving your user documents

I know you can move ‘my documents’ to the d: partition but can you move your whole user profile or at least ‘my favourites’ and stuff?

How do you move “My Docs” to a different partition and still have the built in program shortcuts like “send to/ save to”  still access that file?  When I have tried this before, Windows creates a new “My Docs” file in the C drive and all the short cuts continue to point to that.

Right click on my docs, select properties.  There you can specify the target to whatever you like.
