Just ordered my TX-610 yesturday for under $1900 USD :D through Sony Style (business dept). I love hagglin down prices! I plan on upgrading the memory myself and a DVD ROM/CD burner will be just fine for what I’m using it for. Seems as though a lot of ppl are going with these cheaper 610 models (all out of stock). There were 300 units coming in next week however I was 310 on the waiting list. Mine won’t even ship until the next shipment after that scheduled around the 2nd of Nov. Oh well I hope mine is one of the newer shipments that has a quiet fan :?
Anyhow I’m gettin all ready and had a few questions about if anyone has successfully swapped the Cingular SIM with a T-Mobile on the TX? I know this can be done with the T series but nothing has been said about the TX. I’m hoping to use my T-mobile SIM to get on their GPRS/EDGE service here in Colorado.
Also can anyone confirm BlueTooth 2.0 +EDT on the TX series :?: Anyone have a favorite BT 2.0 headset for VOIP?
