with my T240p on the way, couple of questions for you guys or gals…i’ve done some searching, but no definitive answer that i could find.

what BT stack does the T series come w/ out of the box, MS or WC ?

i’ve always just run the MS stack cuz all i’ve really done is bond w/ my phone and use the MS BT desktop keyboard and mouse…will Intellipoint 5.2/5.3 work fully (programmable keys) w/ the 5 button MS mouse ?

any other things to know about BT on the T series ?

oh yea, i was IM’ing w/ a friend (and member here too) about upgrading to BT 2.0 ... but we didn’t finish our discussion ... is that possible w/ the T series and it is just software/driver updates or do I have to upgrade hardware ?

It cant handle BT headsets, but does most anything else.

Also it’s good you ordered that T240 when you did, they are no longer on costco.com !

I will upgrade my BT on my T350 ... It seems compatible.

yea, i bought my T saturday night, sometime sunday it dropped off…not sure, i might have gotten the last one…hehe…it is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow…

don’t plan on a headset, but may eventually want to give one a try…but from what i was discussing w/ another member was hardware upgrade…so BT 2.0 requires new hardware???...is it just a mini-pci that does both wifi and bt, or a totally different chip/card???

i really wish MS made a bluetooth mouse w/ the IP software and an on/off switch…but will probably just use my existing BT mouse or buy the mouse by itself…
