anybody know if the capture buttons,  vol+ and vol- are all on the same cable for the TR3?  I just noticed mine are not working anymore.  And I just finished tearing it apart and putting it all back together. As i remember, there is one big black cable coming out of the display and attaching to the motherboard all in one big block, but my mem is not that good.  I know the zoom button went out after a display upgrade months ago.  none of this is a biggie, just annoying…i would hate to think that i did something silly like knock a connector.  thanks!

Either that or it was something the goat did to it. If it worked before you took it apart, I’d just do a once-over on all the cables inside to make sure they are in correctly.

SOLVED! it was the chicken. I’ve trained them to peck at a red button to get food (vs. a picture of a plate of rice) and they were pecking at the capture button…

no seriously Gilbert was right, I had disabled hkutil or some such thing on startup to save resources, and totally spaced that out.  it was over a year ago.  that’s how much i use the hardware controls…
