Will Lapvantage dome strong enough u as a little desk. for example, can i put my tr on and typing,resting my hand on that dome?

it is a strong item but you cant rest your wrists on the dome.  the dome is recessed.

so i wouldn’t hold the weight of the laptop plus the wrist?

Well, you’re not supposed to type on the Dome…it’s supposed to raise the laptop to eye level and then you can use a keyboard and mouse with your TR. So, it’s not really an issue of weight.

I sometimes do type on my TR when it’s on the Dome….but only when I’m in front of the TV…it raises it enough so that I can use while watching TV and sitting on the floor. 

“sitting on the floor” is what i usually do. right now is use a box with the glass and put my tr on top. it looks weired, so i really wanna get something like a stand to put my tr on.

i guess i misunderstood your question.  like gr00vy said its not really for typing on but you totally could it would hold alot of weight!!!
