According to Intel , they will use 1/10 of the power of the current generation of chips.

In other news, Generalisimo Flashdrive is still dead.

It also could use more power…who knows?

I’ll be impressed when they roll out much more energy-efficient screens. Oddly enough, that seems to be the part of portable computers (next to the CPU, HD and wireless radios) that gets the least attention as far as battery-saving tech goes - and it’s the hungriest.
