Googling I see little or no difference in performance between the cards so far.

It’s $59.99 but only if you have a voice plan with them and if you commit to a 2-year contract. It’s definitely better but still somewhat pricey.

Yeah I called last week, they dropped my $79 to $59. She was telling me I need a calling plan, which I have on another line…she said i need it on the same line, I said I can’t make a call with a PC Card…she didn’t understand. Luckily there is a pic of a PC Card on VZWs site…I was like, there are No Buttons or Speakers, it’s not a phone…Sir this is Verizon we sell only phones…no you don’t…grrr…

I learned some of the Verizon service reps will say no way unless you have a voice plan (I only have a phone with Cingular) but if you keep calling you will eventually come across a service rep that will hook you up with the $59 per month deal without the voice plan. I went through about 4 of them until the service rep named Joanne didn’t mention anything about a voice plan. I had a couple of months left on my 1 year contract; she gave me the $59 two year contract with no haggle whatsoever. All I said was “Someone let me know I could get my rate plan reduced to the $59 rate plan if I called this number.” She said I would be getting a verification letter of my new contract in about 7 days. I sure hope so. :wink:
