Well, looks like Sony EU has answered the desires of many to have Carbon Fiber casing on new TX models for EU customers (hopefully Sony US will follow up with the same release).

The TX-Series is crafted from materials drawn from the worlds of Formula One racing and aerospace engineering. The casing is formed from carbon fibre laminate, a material both lighter and stronger even than magnesium alloy, which gives the TX-Series its unique and exclusive look and feel

Also Sony introduced all new FJ series that Sony Japan has not announced in their report.

Just one of the many treats in this series is a tiny digital camera discreetly set into the screen surround that can turn each FJ-Series notebook into a video phone. Together with high speed 802.11b/g wireless networking provided by the latest Intel® Centrino® technology, this opens the door to next-generation communications

I have to ask: do you work for Sony?

Hey, Hey…....he’s a seasoned poster here.  We are only too fortunate to have such dedicated Sony fans in this forum.  You ought to be ashamed.

What’s crazy here is that the FJ series is being announced in the EU but doesn’t exist in Japan yet! That’s madness!

Did I miss availability dates?  When they annouced these in Japan the website also indicatecd an availability date of 9/15.  I did not see one here.  :?:
