this time it looks like digi cams are trying to look more like mobile phones rather than vice versa… dont you think?

DSC-M2 as expected from Sony… In my opinion, M1 looks more appealing in its black metallic finish.

I agree, I like the black better then the satin…but I like the look of the M2 better. IMO, the M series needs 2 things:

1. Smaller & Lighter
2. The ability to be used like a regular camera, horizontally, as well as the slide out method.

I was considering the M1 before I got my T7, when I saw my friend’s M1 compared to my T1, I knew I had no choice…the M1 was too big for me to use on a regular basis.

It does take great video…but I don’t have a problem with the T7’s video…and the hybrid photo/video isn’t something I would ever use.

do you guys know if theres a big difference wether using a sony memory stick pro duo highspeed or the other version without highspeed?

i was told, for the t7, no remarkable differences

I got the 1 Gig High Speed Pro….and supposedly it has better transfer rates and the cold/hot weather should not affect it. You can compare its features on SonyStyle.com
