Need you help on TR3AP HDD speed ...

I just run HDD speed program and have:

Linear Read Speed = 3.1488MB/Sec
Random Read = 0.8675 MB/Sec
Access Time = 17.64ms

I uynderstand that 4200 40Gig HDD slow, but its lik,e 10 times slower than my External 320Gig USB 2.0 HDD.

Please let me know what is you speed for 4200rpm HDD.

Also I just checked my Device manager and I can see that my Primary IDE controller in PIO mode (not UDMA), do u know any procedure to chage it back to UDMA, I can see that option is setup = use DMA if available)
