Due to the fact that I’m in an apartment with at least one bass-sensitive neighbor, :grumble: I’ve got a 4.0 system, and that’s been nerfed as much as reasonable to reduce bass response. And they still blow the Creative speakers away in every way possible. I think even my Altec Lansing setup at work has better overall fidelity.
[quote author=“Sony Vaio”]and whats up next? we compare dicks?
If you insist. Let me get a camera and a tape measure.
I’m just defending my opinion that the speakers that I bought were “crappy”. I guess I post on way too many forums where you need to defend your optiion until death.

[quote author=“Drachen”]Erik: I have 2 external HDs. One is for backup and the other for stuff I want to store and move from place to place. Honestly, since I got my iRiver, that one has gotten a lot less usage. My first backup solution was an old DAT tape drive I snagged from work. That was pretty good until it became tapeivorous which is when I replaced it with a Maxtore OneTouch on my desktop system.
Tape drives…oh man how I hated those…took forever just to load one file…had to read the entire tape. At least this was mine, back when I had an AST server (remember those?).
Yes, I have a Maxtor OneTouch as well…although i’ve never installed the ‘onetouch’ software so I don’t think my button does anything
I’m using the included  Retrospect  software that came with the OneTouch. It sucks and blows at the same time, but it works. That’s more than I can say for some of the backups I’ve used in a professional capacity.

I didn’t think it was physically possible, but this both sucks and
blows. —Bart Simpson, “Screaming Yellow Honkers”
thats definitely nice but… A) that many screens would get u one of the biggest neck cramps ever after the first couple hours of using it and B)... dell monitors kinda have too wide of a bezel for that many monitors… its nice… but its still kinda killing the huge-screen look…
Personally… id be happy with another 2005FPW.. i love them
