Just to let you know in the Sound Pannel Control my HS820 it is recognize as “Bluetooth AV/HS Audio”  is that right?

You should use bt driver from patcher to run patcher

I run btcli.exe first from the bt_adapter_patcher and a Prompt open :
BCSP on Com3 at 38400bps
then i close and i run pach.bat
the prompt open and close ( i cannot read what is write)
My head device still not work

I go on Panel Control to check Audio device when I go on my bluetooth device it say driver are able but they don’t work properly.
What that mean?

sorry to be a noob.. but u can use a bluetooth headset from a phone for skype?  so what about like in games?  say something like counter strike instead of wired headphone/headset.  if so.. that would be pretty sweet

I know there’s a lot written in this thread about how to patch stuff to allow a Sony notebook to work with a BT headset.

But my problem is there is TOO MUCH written here.  As I follow the thread, every time I think “This is the answer,” someone else writes that something isn’t right.

Can someone tell me, with confidence, what is the current consensus about how best to get my T350P working with a Jabra BT800 headset?

From what I’ve seen here, I’d prefer to use Widcomm and not BlueSoleil, because of the latter’s data transfer limit.

ok, the only reason it is not possible to use your BT headset as a mic/headphone is because the drivers that come with for instance my T150 BT do not support the Headset profile.

What you need to do is remove the drivers completly and install new ones.

then you will need a software that you can control and run BT devices from that ALLOWS the headset profile such as Bluesoleil or Widcomm.

the drivers can be found somewhere in this forum topic and the same with the software…

Just bought my TR2MP 2 days agio.

I have tried all the methods and all the files that have been posted in the past 5 pages. I still couldnt get past the “Patching” stage. After I have done the 1st stage and reboot, i was supposed to install the “unknown bluetooth device” with the ALPS drivers in the patch folder + the modified .inf with 044 & 3003. But it doesnt work, it keeps saying UGX with a yellow circle + exclaimation mark. I’m stuck right before running the patch.bat step.

Help?

you and me both man… but I dont have any complaints so far.  Apart from not being able to connect to a BT headset, everything else works.

Spartanman, I should have stuck with the default XP bt setup like you did .... I got a bit greedy and now I can’t even access the bt hardware.  I just hope I haven’t ruined the module.  Still looking into it and wondering if anyone has run into a corrupt driver before for any device andif you could advice on how I could remove it from my system.  The challenge is that I don’t have the bt hardware listed in my device manager (can’t use update driver option).  My clinical exams are next week, so I won’t do much until after that.

In the meantime, I’d welcome any input from TR World regulars that have more experience.
