does anyone know whether the 855GM graphics chipset in the X505 is capable of delivering DVI? If so perhaps there could be made a DVI-Out dongle similar to the VGA-out/LAN dongle that comes with it?

The VTBook graphics card (does have native DVI) gives a wonderful image on a DVI screen but can´t really be used because of the slow Ricoh Cardbus controller in the X505. The system gets sluggish and slow.

I really want to use my Sony HS75P flatscreen on a native DVI port! DVI to VGA adapters spoil the picture too much. Anyone knows anything?

Very unlikely. I know there is a PC card that has DVI-D out, but I have heard mixed reviews. I wonder if some VGA to DVI-D adapter would do it?

The PC Card you are talking about is the VTBook card. As i said, it makes a a wonderful image but also makes the system sluggish and less responive because of the slow Ricoh Cardbus controller in the X505.

Sure, i tried DVI/VGA adapters, but theyspoil the crispness/colors and everything.

No other possibility to get a native DVI-out on the X505?
