” Now, we can currently hear the cries of all those people who’ve recently purchased Konfabulator. Fear not, people, for you will be given the gift of a refund if you purchased Konfabulator 2.0 or later. Revel in the glory of it.”
Hooray for big companies to make products that kill off little companies so they can get bought by other big companies and give their product to us for free!
Been working at yahoo for 5 years…
and sure we screwed up a 3-4 years ago when we fought to survive with ads everywhere..
But we are a much nicer company now..
But guess you’ve got your mind made up.
Sound so much like a /. ‘er…
Yahoo could discover the cure for cancer.. and release it to the world.. and still they’d bitch and complain.
Not at all. I’m just terribly amused that we’re all so happy that Apple basically killed off Pixoria’s business with their newest O/S update and that we now get it for free because someone else picked up the still-bleeding corpse.
I guess my sense of sarcasm and irony doesn’t translate well over text. For your amusement, here’s my work desktop as of yesterday morning.
And if you want to see people complaining vociferously about your company, try working at a record label that concentrates in metal.
But then again. probably just getting annoyed with slashdot, and its reporting… like the following article even though we released a firefox toolbar 3-4 months before google..

[quote author=“gr00vy0ne”]Eek! That’s scary! I’m using the exact same skin right now!
I noticed that from a post a couple of weeks ago. I’m normally not such a trendwhore, but stefanka does such great work. I’m still using a customized version of the original Inspiriat on my desktop at home.
