[quote author=“ngvuanh”]You can download latest version here from Intel.
It works fine and your Zoom button should work too.
hey thanks for that link. my screen is clearer now it seems (or is it my imagination?).
things improved/changed from the intel driver of 6 months ago:
* profiles deleted, there is something called schemes instead. no migration happened on my machine and those profiles were lost.
* improved video overlay handling for my averTV box: I can now see PIP @ 75mghertz with samsung external…was not possible with the last driver.
* the driver’s user interface was improved (i guess, it looks better!)
* FN - Change Display button now works (for switching between external+notebook/just notebook/just external now WORKS without giving u a BSOD!
* a zoom utility for seeing a part of ur screen close up within another window. not that’s really stupid.
BUT the zoom button is still inop, I get this message:
HotKey Client
Not available with current display settings.
So all in all I am pleased with the new driver as it appears more stable then the last. I think that for most of us, the zoom key may be a lost hope and to be honest, i think it was a stupid idea anyway. it just replicates a software switch anyway. perhaps a better use of the button might have been sleep or hibernate or hell, even calculator or my computer or something as meaningless as that.
so thanks!!!
