Honestly, I am one of those people who get a new song and listen to it on repeat for hours on end, then I get sick of it and never want to hear it again.

The Flea wouldn’t work if you are a Type O Negative or Opeth fan. Maybe if you got the first half of a song stuck in your head…
You may want to check out this neat program called WMR (WM Recorder).
I’ve been using this to capture win media streams off the net; including this one. It works pretty well with a nominal fee.

Oh, defintely. That’s why I don’t need an iPod, just some free space on the ol’ PSP.
Too funny, I swear I thought I was the only one like that. It drives my friends/GFs/etc nuts. Yes, back in the day, I am guilty of making 1 track CDs…before Mp3 players were actually popular. My first Mp3 player only held 8 tracks, just perfect for me.
Now, my iPod has 32GB of the 40 (actually its like 37-8ish) capacity used…but honestly, I still go to one song and just listen over and over.
About the only album I can go without skipping is anything from Linkin Park. Smashing Pumpkins and Stone Temple Pilots require just a few skipped songs here and there.
I used to hate flash-based players because they actually made me consciously deicde what I wanted to listen to. Before I had CD-Rs, I would program my CD player to skip songs I didn’t like in an album and hit the random button. Once MP3s came into vogue, I never looked back. These days, I ‘audition’ new CDs for good tracks and add the good ones to the rotation and sync them with my player. I literally don’t know a single album that I can listen to straight through. Then again, I listen to a lot of remix and comp discs.
The funny thing is that a lot of my friends and coworkers listen to MP3ed albums all the way through. Even AC/DC. How anyone can sit through essentially the same song over and over again is beyond me…
I recorded and sent to you via email. Enjoy.
As for the only song listening…. if I really really like the song I’d also play it on my VAIO Pocket or HMP-A1 (video music clip) until I am sick of it….I often find some really cool songs playing on my XM radio (especially BMP, or UPOP channels), memorize the songs, and then later on find them on the net music stores.
