Well, I’m a trackball fan, so I use a Kensington Orbit with my T250. It was the smallest decent trackball I could find.
It is a wired trackball. I think bluetooth and wireless mice are overrated because you can’t use them in the place they would be the most useful—on an airplane.
If that is true, it would be good news from my perspective. Can anyone confirm it? Is it airline dependant?
One problem I see is that my T250 has a switch on the front for wireless and bluetooth combined. So I’m not sure I could have the bluetooth on without having the wireless on at the same time.

You can use the software to specify whether to turn on BT, wireless, both or either.

The switch is overruled by the software.
I didn’t realize that, thanks for that information. I did some searching on the web, however, and found that while there is some controversy over whether a BT device could actually interfere with airplane navigation, airline rules prohibit the use of bluetooth just like cell phones.
i hate the dying battery/think i got a broken mouse/pissed off sindrome so i stick with my good ole wired US70 mem stick mouse i got off ebay for 10 bucks.

is that the mini wireless mouse? especially nice for travelling?
hows the performance and duration?
Yes, it’s mini wireless mouse. IMO, it’s really mouse for laptop and travelling.
V500 works great with SetPoint 2.4 application.
V500 uses 2xAAA battery but they are in parallel so you have twice of battery life. I have used a pair of battery for a month and a half without turn off the mouse.

You will love it if you have it.

I just got my bluetooth Thermaltake mouse in the mail. I must say, its got to be the coolest mouse I’ve ever used. Probably cause I’ve never used a BT mouse before but never the less, its a great mouse. It’s small, smaller than expected, but thats ok. Took it to school and suddenly I got a lot of Oooh and aah’s.
I havent had enough time to test out the battery life but I heard it lasts a long time.
