I’ve had a Sony Card for years. It was originally through Citibank but Bankone just took the card over today. Here are the new policies:

1 point for every $1 spent
3 points for every $1 spent on Sony Products
8 points for every $1 spent on Sony Products at my.sony.com

This is up from 1-3-5

For an example…1,500 points gets you this combo pack:
2 Unrestricted Movie Tickets
2 Small sodas
1 Medium Popcorn

I used this when I bough my Vaio so I got $2,300 * 3 = 6,900 points…so I picked up 4 combo packs…well worth over $100!

Hey if your a Sony nut like me, this card just makes sense.

Wow, I really would have racked up the points on my computer purchases under the new system. I hope they still let us convert Sony points into cash, I usually went that route under Citibank.

Do you like the new look of the card?

I think the #‘s are easier to read…I like the see through band…but I liked the image on the first one better…

I definitely like the new card better, the old one looked pretty plain, though it had a higher credit limit than my fancy looking platinum card. I’ll have to take a look through the documentation later and write the new rewards address down along with the new terms and conditions.

OMG, I just sent out 2 reward bonus points last week…it’s the 3 per Sony one…I hope the credit goes through…I saved copies of everything. I still have an order from my.sony.com for $80 that should arrive any day now…i hope to get $80 * 8 instead of $80 * 5.
