Does the sleeve fit the TR with the extended battery?  Anyone have some pics of it with the extended battery in the sleeve?

no no!  the seam had to be sewed due to my tmobile aircard not the battery.

yup!  it is the normal tr sleeve.  i got all the bells and whistles that drachen describes.  such as the piggy back and shoulder strap etc..

The Tumi 2661 or 9661 (Ballistic Nylon and Leather, respectively) are worth checking out.

I’ve been using the 9661 with my SRX77 for the past year, and it fits perfectly.  I put a friends TR2A in a few months ago to check for fit, and it was also perfect.  It would have room the extended battery as I recall. 

Additionally, it has a decent amount of space for accessories, is expandable and has a space for some papers, has a front pouch with keyhook and a place to put a cellphone.

It also has a neat method for attaching to a roll-aboard carry-on.  Simply unzip the top and bottom pocket on the back, and slide the pocket over the roll-aboard arm.

It’s a bit pricey, but worth it, I think.

Unfortunately, they’re discontinued.  You might find them through froogle.google.com, Tumi outlet stores, or on eBay.

Mine was $285.

I just received my Water Field SleeveCase and it is very nice looking and well made.  Now all I need is my TR3AP2 so I can try the case out….

i just got mine from sony “PCGA-CCTR/J” and it fits my TR3 perfectly , im waiting for my DSC-t1 camera so i could show you the bag with details.

Just got my WaterField Case and I love it. The fit is great with the extended battery.  Great protection.  I also picked up the “iPod Gear Pouch” bag to use with my accessories. The standard battery fits great in the outside pocket and the divided compartments are great for all my ZipLinq cables (RJ45/RJ11/Clie charger/Earphones…), Bluetooth dongle, memory stick case (a lot of storage for a small bag).  Either battery will fit in the outside pocket, by the way. I recommend this bag as a companion to the TR Sleeve.

Sillyrabbitt, can you please set out where the case was extended for your sierra wireless card? I emailed regarding adapting the case and they needed more information, would it be possible for you to send me an email?

if you look inside the #1 sleeve you will see those elastic pieces that arent sewed down to the sleeve they are loose. i had them sew those pieces to the inside of the sleeve so they are not loose anymore. while it makes a little difference it is still a tight fit and you have to be gentle about pulling the tr in and out but it does work!!! otherwise if i didnt have them sew it, it would be even more of a pain in the butt to get the tr in and out but still doable. just tell them to sew the elastic pieces down so they are streched out and sewn so your antenna wont get in the way.

I’ve got to tell you, this was one of the most pleasant purchasing experiences - Gary at Waterfield was exceptional and the case is GREAT!

My TR looks as cute as can be, and the case provides a better level of padding than I’d expected when I bought it. I also bought the iPod case, and it fits like a glove. I ordered the storage case for the cords etc., and it fits quite abit - I’m wishing that I ordered the iPod gear bag - oh well, there’s always another excuse to buy a cute case!

I think you will be happy with the WaterField sleeve.  I love mine and it is first rate quality and protection.

Received mine yesterday and I’m very impressed.  It was exactly what everyone had said plus the shipping was fast.  Although my impulsive self needed it next day! 

I ended up calling them directly after my order was already placed, I forgot to add the balistic flap and they fixed me up!
