The MS Duo and Duo Pro cards are smaller in all dimensions than a standard MS. They come with an MS-sized adapter that you slip the Duo into. I have a picture from my P900 review.

Averatec’s are just price breakers tho.. the gf (not a gadget whore, much less a Sony whore), has an Averatec 3250. Dollar for dollar, it’s a killer bargain ($600 after a buncha rebates, all of which she received promptly)...

Can the quality match up though?

pretty darned good. the 3250’s case is alumi. hinge’s been solid after a year. screen’s nowhere as nice as Xbrite, and i haven’t fried any HDDs yet like i did w/ my old SR7K . so far so good, *knock on wood*
