Too bad it can’t act as an IDE caching controller. I guess with 8-16MB built-in caches in HDDs, it’s not really necessary as much anymore. I remember back in 1993, I had a Cyborg IDE caching controller for my 386DX-33MHz (w/ the requisite 387DX). At the time, I had an insane 4MB of cache on that controller card to go along with the insane 8MB of system memory. Madness! I eventually upgrade both system memory to 16MB and caching controller memory to 16MB. Who new a 386 could be so fast? :wink:
