It’s like most things. Once you don’t have to think about them anymore, if you’re asked to think about it you can’t do it anymore :?
It’s also annoying when you start thinking about something like breathing. In, out, in out. Suddenly you can’t stop thinking about it and you have to manually breathe until you’re distracted again and your body takes over again!
(sorry if you’re now sat there thinking about breathing in and out :oops: )
