We knew they were planning these, but now we’ve got some details on those 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo cards from SanDisk. They’ll ship in July for (drumroll, please) $349.99, which we likely need not remind anyone actually exceeds the cost of the PSP. SanDisk also says they’re gonna be stepping up production on the 1GB Duos to meet increased demand — ‘bout time, yo! Hop to it, already!

it’s a good thing i don’t use my psp as a pmp. got my treo for that (2gb hi-speed sd for $200)  :D i’ll probably pickup a 2gb pro duo for my t1 when the price becomes more reasonable ($200~225)

i would like to assume that the price they are quoting is sony direct prices.  sony tends to inflate the price quite easily, and i’m certain that one can get it from elsewhere for slightly cheaper.

yup. you can get the   MSX-M2GN from office depot through amazon.com for around $100 less ( $346.95) than what sony is charging.
