I did a few searches here and on the SONY support site and was not able to find a firmware update for the UJDA 755 ODD.  It seems like there is a firmware update on SONYs site for every ODD except this one.  Is there one out there? 

Every once in while i have a problem with a DVD, but it is a rarity.  I figure if the firmware is updated maybe the once in while problem will go away.  Does anybody know where to get the latest firmware update for this ODD?

Yep tired that too.  The firmware is only for the Victor OEM drives.  I still tried to update with that firmware anyway, but it did not recognize the drive.

For the UJDA 745 they have a section that is for SONY drives only.  No such area exists for the UJDA 755 on the firmware updates. 

I will keep looking, but i am beginning to think that there is not a firmware update avialable fot the UJDA 755
