My tests were with the switch physically turned to the off position. I would imagine it’s the same as using the software but I could be wrong.

I could get 9 hours out of my TR2… which is what it said for the Japanese website back then for TR2 using the extre capacity battery… smile (Wireless being off while not at home…)

Though I do recall that Sony claimed TR1 can go up to 11 hours… :? and the model you used to test was TR1… :?

Have anyone experienced the compatible model of PCGA-BP3T battery?

I’ve seen at ebay and some website that they sell it a lot cheaper than the original PCGA-BP3T from sony. But the question is what about the performance and quality of the compatible battety? Will it possible to damage the laptop if we use the battery which is not from Sony?
