The link worked at home, but would was not accessible from my work for some reason.  Anyway, as Drachen mentioned, the software was problematic for me.  I had to cancel the install, and move the folder to my desktop as suggested above.  This did allow the update, but it would delete the bluespaceNe.exe file, and in essence the program.

Anyway, I did manage to pair up the logitech MX900 BT mouse with the Sony Bluetooth Dongle using the XP Wireless Link as gr00vy0ne suggested.
