I’m using Fedora Core 3 on my TR3A, and it is great. There are just a couple things I need to get working for it to be a totally MOBILE machine.
1) HYBERNATION - anyone know how to get this working? I imagine it’s something to do with ACPI?
2) SCREEN DIMMING - In Windows the computer goes into “laptop mode” while using the battery. Is there anyway to control screen dimming (which I gather is the biggest drain on the battery) manually? How about the other battery-saving measures, like slowing the processor?
Thanks for any tips. I haven’t tried the wireless yet, but once the Fedora side is running a bit more mobile/battery-friendly, I hope to tackle that.
Thanks,
Jay
