As i solved my playlist problem i m changing for another question
So now that my tracks are in the right order i d like to know how to avoid the 2 sec blank between the tracks. I d like it smooth. It s an techno mix so you ll understand why i kinda don t like the blanks between the songs

I know that in nero when you’re burning an audio cd there is an option to remove the silence at the end of tracks.
I’m not sure it’s the same problem with an mp3 cd tho.  I guess it depends if the two second silence is actually on the mp3 track or just something the mp3 player inserts.

Easy CD creator has that feature too, i think most of the popular burning software has an option of turn off the gap between tracks.

you guys are right nero does it but only for regular music cd i didn t find that featyure for MP3 cds that s why i m asking for your help..
btw: there are no blanks in my MP3 because it s a long song i splitted into different mp3..

Well if there are no blanks in the actually mp3s then it depends on the player.  My old car stereo used to play mp3s on a cd without any gaps between tracks, my new one adds a second or two between them.

Thom, i think i have exactly what your looking for. Its called acoustica mp3 cd burning software. You can use it to merge tracks, remove silence, add silence and all sort of things. Give it a try , its available at download.com. I’ve been using it for a while now,

I just burned my cd with acoustica… no luck it still doing the blank between my songs even though I specified I didn’t want any blanks.
I guess I have to blame it on my Sony MP3 car stereo. Did anybody else have that experience whit a Sony car product?

Have you tried the cd in any other players?  I would agree that it’s probably the stereo tho.  Some have an option of adding/removing the gap between tracks so it might be worth a trawl through the manual.

The tiny gap of silence at the end of many MP3 tracks is an artefact of the MP3 format itself.  See the link below for more information:

When converting MP3 back to a standard CD you can remove the silence (which is desirable for live albums, techno mixes, etc.)  But if you are keeping the tracks in MP3 form, you are stuck with the silence.
