Hi! I bought a great mouse today and would like to share it with you all. Its white and I thought it looks great, and when I used it, it works great too… now before I say too much….

You can see from this pic and the next that the mouse has a glossy finish.

You can’t see it here, but the wheel is translucent and turns red when you move it. Sweet.

This is the size of it on my Toshiba Satellite Pro M10 (15” monster)

I don’t have a digicam with me now or else I will take one with the TR. Took these photos with my motion eye. I can’t find the model of this Microsoft mouse but you guys should be able to easily find it in stores if you like it. It costs me SGD$43, so its around USD$25.

It works very very quietly. The clicks on the button are almost unnoticeable. And the wheel is quiet too. The USB cable looks cool too. Very sweet mouse from MS. Makes a great pair with the TR.

Hi, couldn’t help posting the photos of another mouse I bought today too for the monstor Toshiba. Read that some anonymouse was looking for a micro mouse. Here’s one… And I’ll let the photos speak for themselves first…

The dimensions are as follows: 5cm x 8.5cm x 2.5cm. Very portable.

It comes with a leather pouch which I find very useful.

The buttons are not as quiet the the MS one, and the wheel is a little rough. Costs: USD$28.80 (SGD$49). Its a Logitech Mouseman Traveler. And it comes with a 5 year warranty.  8)

And sigh, this TR will be leaving my side after 5 days. Its actually a gift for my friend, and I’ve finally got every program that should be installed in it. Cheers to the TR for these 5 days, I’ll be missing u… I’ll buy one when I save up enough money. Meanwhile, its back to my Toshiba Satelittle Pro! (Oops, wrong forum!)

Ok, I don’t really use a mouse most of the time. I use a tablet. I’ve been a fan of Wacom tablets for years and just gave away my old Graphire tablet for one of the new Graphire2 tablets.

It’s nice and white to match the TR better and it comes with wireless stylus and mouse neither of which needs any batteries.

I’m a lefty too so using the stylus is much more comfortable for me. Also, for image editing, a stylus is almost essential. The mouse is ok for general stuff but I do keep around a wireless Logitech optical mouse for gaming.

Oh, the mouse doesn’t need any batteries? thats interesting.

This Graphire tablet does seem to look like a good companion of the TR.

Oh, and my photos were taken under yellow light, thats why they are yellowish.  :o Lets hear from more mice…

Just brought the microsoft bluetooth mouse for my tr1mp and it works flawlessly with the bluetooth of the laptop.

I really like the feel of working with a mouse while i’m commuting as it makes a lot of things easier.

Although the mouse is a navy blue colour i think it looks really high tech and it seems to look really nice next to the tr1mp…

Best thing is no wires and its optical so it’ll work on any surface even my lap… :mrgreen: +buttons the extra buttons are editable so you can have them doing different things…

I use the Mouseman Traveler, too.

I wish I could get this mouse with bluetooth. Could not find a stylish, small Bluetooth mouse yet. :-(

Got this “PCGAUMS3V.CE VAIO Optical Mini Mouse - USB ”  today for my TR3A. looks nice and feels good too.

I got it for approx 22 from bestbuy after a 10 bucks mail in rebate and taxes. It works very well and is not too small (like some Ive seen) and not as big the desktop ones.

Er….shouldn’t this be under the ‘You know you’re addicted to customizing the Sony TR’ top ten list?  :shock:  Well, okay.
  Anyways, I use two..for separate laptops mind you. ...an old beat-up Microsoft Intellimouse, and a Wireless Intellimouse. Both work very nicely, but the new Wireless Intellimouse is smooth…and the 3rd button is a little too smooth…used to some grit under my wheel .

i’m on number three.  i did want a wireless mouse but didnt see much sense in having a wireless dongle 2” away from the mouse itself.  so…

mouse number one:
MS Notebook mouse, works great, a bit small.  come to find out that it fits my little girls hands perfectly (shes using an older VAIO notebook), so it found a home on her machine.

mouse number two:
the new Sony VAIO silver mouse.  its well designed and works great.  one nice feature is that there are no seams where the main body of the mouse meets the two bottons.

mouse number three:
MS Bluetooth mouse.  after the internal bluetooth mod i had to have a wireless mouse.  i never cared for logitech and the bluetake seemed cheap (i have no idea).  i settled for the MS mouse for the extra buttons.
actually it came in today.  i installed it no problem; works great with the internal bluetooth.  the only problem i have it that there seems to be a slight delay in the signal transfer.  i think this is just inherent to wireless mice as it was the case with the first wireless explorer mouse (i had that one too).

Has anyone tried this “Presenter/Mouse”?  I am primarily interested in the Mouse function.  I like the smaller footprint, especially for travel.  I would still prefer a trackball, but this might be a decent interim solution.  Comments please…

I still do not know how to post pics.  My mice are not fancy anyways.  I have a Belkin Optical USB Mini Scroller for the TR, and a Microsoft Optical USB scroller for the Desktop at home.

gr00vy0ne, how does that pen right click, left click, and scroll?  That looks pretty cool!  Since I am not a gamer, I might be interested in it.  Do you find it to be more comfortable / productive that a mouse?

Left click is a tap on the tablet. Right click is on the body of the pen. It’s very much like one of those mechanical pencils. There’s no way to scroll with it (like a wheel mouse). That’s why I have a Griffin Technology PowerMate which handles scrolling with my other hand.

In terms of ergonomics, it’s super comfortable since your hand is in a more neutral position. It helped fix my carpal tunnel problems.
