Hey guys, this is my first time here.  This is a good forum with a bunch of information on lots of cool Sony stuff.  Does anyone own the Cyber-shot® DSC-W7?  What are your thoughts on it?  If no one owns it what other camera would you recommend which has similar specs?

I’ve got the W5 and love it.  I am not a picture freak, so I am pretty easy to please.  It is surprisingly compact and has a solid feel when taking shots…IMO.

Welcome to the forum.  TR World is a pretty good clearinghouse of VAIO information, and other Sony products in general.  If you want specific information on Cybershots I recommend dpreview’s Sony forum though.

I have also been looking into the w5, very similar camera.  I checked out both of these on dpreview.  Has lots of information.  Thanks for the replies, both were really helpful.

I am using V3 and am loving it. It’s responsive and image quality is good. Do check it out. I think it’s not much bigger than W7, if I am not wrong.
