Hey there, I’ve had my UK TR1MP since December now and it’s my first ever experience of a laptop. Recently I’ve been noticing that the battery life has been decreasing rapidly and then I checked the power in it and it’s down to 22 from 47 :o :shock: so erm.. basically would like to know what did this and.. anyone know the best price for a new battery?  :|

The max charge capacity is 22? That sounds like your battery is failing, mine is at 46.44, and I’ve had it since October. The max charge capacity of the TR’s battery should be close to 47.73 after such a short time. If it’s the current charge you’re looking at, then don’t worry.

ooops schoolboy error.  my full charge is 45ish, and it does seem a fair bit weaker than before. I see now lol.
Still though, what kind of things cause eventual decrease in power and what can be done to stop it?

Basically it’s just deterioration of the chemical composition in the battery. I posted a link in the following thread that explains things in more detail:

You could try to close the “Power Panel” before start charging the battery.
