Hi first of all please excuse me for my bad english i’m coming from far far away !

My problem is so that : i would like to use bluetooth of my tr2a to connect my phones. I try for many hours to search all over the forum and concluded 2 things :
  = my tr2a doesnt have bluetooth included and i must add something inside
or = i need some driver or upload to make it on

I have (as many of you) installed win xp pro sp1 unless created recovery disk…

I’ll be REALLY happy if someone could help me !!

You first need to check your Device Manager to see if Bluetooth is installed. If you have installed Windows XP SP2, it has generic Bluetooth drivers and should show your device.

It should look like above. If you don’t have it then you don’t have Bluetooth installed. Only Japan and European models came with Bluetooth installed. US models do not have it.

I have sp1 no bluetooth in computer management but i have european version.
Thx a lot of your help. As i said ive reinstall one by one all software and driver i probably miss one. If i have sp1 and no bluetooth appear do i have to install something special ?

Well, do you have a TR2A or a TR2MP? The TR2A is a USA version and the TR2MP is the EU version. The TR2MP has Bluetooth built-in. If you have SP1 then you possibly need to install drivers for it. The device would show up in your device manager as unknown if it’s on your system. If you have all devices shown as found in the Device Manager then you likely do not have Bluetooth hardware in your system.

Ok i’ve tr2a buy in europe
So i’ll buy a bluetooth key cause i dont need it al the time !
