anyone know the difference (other than price) between the 1gb pro duo for the psp and the regular 1gb pro duo (both made by sandisk)?

From what I have gathered, Sandisk offers a 5 year limited warranty, whereas Sony’s 1GB Pro Duo comes with only one year warranty. In addition, according to ZDNet, the current Lexar and Sandisk Memory sticks are actually manufactured by Sony. So, it’s fair to state that both sticks are identical in terms of technical built.

I have never seen the yellow version of Scandisk’s 1GB Pro Duo stick. I reckon there’s no difference aside its color scheme.

i don’t think there is any real difference.  I think I remember reading that the colored versions are being labeled as “gamer” versions…  Which means absolutely nothing.  Personally I think the colored ones don’t look that cool.  Isn’t translucent rainbow colors like so 5 years ago?

What gets me, is the size of the actual chip (viewable through the colored sticks).  That is SO TINY for 1GB.  I want them to release the 4GB Duo stick!
