Yupp, Slax works perfect :D (and WindowsXP Underground Live CD Too :wink: )

Any distro that boots from the cd ? I tried knoppix but it fails to run after the initial boot.

Try Kanotix version of Knoppix. It works perfect on Sony TR2A including sound and wireless with router. For some of you on this board my question is about booting from usb memory stick. I would like to figure a way to boot that exact live-cd copy from flash drive. Unfortunetly, Sony vaio is using old bios with their motherboards that do not allow usb boot option. Two questions
1) how can I make awork around to boot from USb Flash?
2) how can I install that live-cd to dual-boot preserving all the features built to cd (i have read about some incompatibilities from live-cd’s vs. hard drive installations)
