thanx, i only just got desktopx and was sceptical cause i used to have avedesk and it used up so much memory and cpu power.

so i should be altering things as i go, as for objectdock, ill never part with it!

i use macromedia fireworks, only because thats all i got and it came with the macromedai suite, i would of thought it would have had a proportional resize tool, probably does, but i cant find the option, its ok though now that ive realised its just simple mathematics who needs programs

Yeah i got it off deviantart and simply copied and pasted that image and flipped horizontally.

and since i’m using Konfabulator and prefer to see more informational widgets from time to time, here’s the konspose view:

.the background is one of the Aero Wallpapers from studiotwentyeight ...
.the theme is the Kuantum Visual Style (i’m using the patched dll method for themes)...
.the icons are Gloss from pixelpirate (which if you use IconPackager , makes for an easy icon theme switcher, and i highly recommend it)...
.the object bar on the bottom is ObjectDock, though after seeing your tabbed interface groovy, i think i now need to step up to the plus version…
.and of course, Konfabulator for the desktop widgets, which includes the pesky ladybug which my girlfriend deemed desktop worthy (so it must stay, for now)...

I usually change mine every other day so this is most likely a temp.

Yeah, it’s a neat trick but it’s merely for showing off in still shots. Any deviation from where the shot was taken will ruin the effect. Also, you need to have a room where the lighting conditions don’t change at all for it to be extra sneaky.
