Does the TR series come with a 6pin or 4 pin firewire connection?

It does have a means to power firewire devices but only using Sony’s own DC Out connector. Unfortantely you cannot get a Sony to 6 pin firewire cable so your stuck having to get Sony devices if you want to make use of it. Shame really.

Yeah that will work for the data transfer, just doesn’t allow you to charge your iPod from the laptop is all.
