Welps.. looks like us gaijin are getting the short end of the stick again.  The DSC-T7 will be available in Japan on 4/15, and in both Silver and Black.  Now im not one to import if a localized version is available (less hassle with warranties, manuals, etc), but that black version is VERY tempting.    I guess we should be thankful that its even being released stateside at all, considering the T3 and T11 both didn’t make it.

For those of you also interested in this model, you might want to take a look at the official high res samples page.  Image three is pretty impressive for a subcompact.  Kind of laughable that they would use a 2 second exposure sample image when the camera itself doesn’t even have an integrated tripod mount.

just like the T-1, i’m guessing they’ll put the mount on the case.

T7 is posted on SonyStyle website now. Available on or about Apr 22, 2005.

Maybe later on they will offer it in Black as a SonyStyle exclusive….who knows…
I think T33 was announced here and should be also available in March, but maybe it will be replaced by T7?

Would be nice.  They didn’t do it for the T1 though, not to mention like pretty much every other product with a color variation in Japan.  Oh well.
