This is bad news for Sony, not so much because of the man’s ethnicity (honestly once you get beyond the whole can’t-dance thing, we white people aren’t that bad) but because of his former occupation. He’s an entertainment executive. I wouldn’t trust any entertainment executive, especially anyone in charge of CBS until the mid-90s, to run a consumer electronics conglomerate. Sony has even admitted that their publishing arms hamstrung their ability to sell their digital music players competitively.
