Glass2k is a free program that adds transparency to any window.

Glass2k solves 2 challenges some people have had: not enough desktop space and for those times when the screen is like way to bright.

I’ve been using it for about a week with only one problem. It will start automatically when you turn on your TR and for some reason it can become unstable. But when I turn it on myself after everything has loaded up, no problems, its awesome.

To stop it from auto starting: Start>Run> Type MSCONFIG>Startup Tab

Uncheck “Glass2k” and “Shortcut to Glass2k”

Stardock’s WindowFX can do a similar thing if you’re already using it. All you need to do is right click on the application’s task bar item and change it’s transparency level.
